Peace to you from the garden of Gethsemane, the place loved by the
Lord!
Among the many gifts that the Lord has given us in this month I
have received a particular light from the Lord by giving the spiritual exercises
to an Italian priest. The latter, living a particular moment of the ministry
entrusted to him, made a sort of verification of his service to the Lord, and
in walking in the Garden where the Lord walked he shared this thought:
"Here the Lord did not 'suffer' the will of the Father, but he chose it,
he made it his... The Son of Man became one with the will of the Father"
(Lk 22:42). Even to me, who have lived and walked in this Garden for years,
this aspect has been even deeper, because it illuminates the divine will but at
the same time it is the most eloquent example for each of us in making our own
the will of the Father... To love what He loves and to make of our life an
occasion of love. I am sure that each of us, if he inclines the ear of the heart,
Saint Francis would say, can perceive the many opportunities that the Lord
gives us to be able to grow in faith in the gift of life, in the concreteness
of our daily lives. We always implore, through the intercession of Mary Most
Holy, mercy and Peace. Let us remain in prayer beside the Lord asking him to
make us sharers in his plan of Salvation.
We point out our new site "Hora Sancta" updated, with
news and the opportunity to participate in small-large prayer appointments, in
communion with this holy place, which always tells the current presence of the
Lord and his infinite love for us, little. For those who want you can follow us
on Instagram.
Be blessed.
From Gethsemane.
Hora Sancta
We are the sons of St. Francis, and we are THE custodians, according to the will of God, of one of the places that Jesus loved the most: the garden called GETHSEMANE. This is a unique place in the world. It is the place where the Lord manifested his Yes forever by being ready to enter where nobody else had ever entered, where he plunged into darkness, in the final battle against death, in which humanity has always ended up being a loser.
